Coffey County Chamber of Commerce
TEXAS HOLD'EM POKER TOURNAMENT
Saturday, November 11, 2006, at the 4-H Building, Kelley Park, Burlington, Kansas
The Coffey County Chamber of Commerce poker tournament was a great success with 50
participants from 11 cities in the surrounding area. Participants came from Burlington, Lebo, Madison, Le Roy, Gridley, Topeka, La Harpe, Moran, Chanute, New Strawn, and Yates Center.
Play began at 6 p.m. with breaks about every hour (blind increases were at 20 minute intervals) and lasted until about 10 p.m. with the final table being seated around 9 p.m. Everyone enjoyed the tournament
and most players stayed around after elimination to have a sandwich and watch the other players.
We had a great time hosting this annual event and hope you will join us for the next event for more great poker and prizes!

The Consolation Turbo Table filled shortly after the first break of the Main Tournament and completed play about an
hour and a half later. The final two players, Mike Lawrence of Gridley and Dale Rowley of Topeka, went heads-up for
several hands before Rowley took the final pot for first place at the Consolation Table.
