Farmer's Market
Home grown vegetables, canned goods, elk meat, hand-made items, and more. The market is open 4-7 p.m. Fridays in the Municipal Parking Lot north of the red caboose on 4th Street (U.S. Hwy 75) in Burlington. New vendors are always welcome. USCATS Mid-West Championship 2008 Catfish Tournament
Friday, September 5th 7a-4p John Redmond Reservoir at the boat ram by the dam, tournament headquarters will be at the shelter house.
Saturday, September 6 Start at safe light - 3p Melvern Lake, Eisenhower State Park, west boat ramp. The tournament headquarters for the second day is this boat ramp.
Entry Fee: $225.00 if mailed by August 25th after that the entry fee is $250.00 cash. This entry fee covers both days of the tournament. The payout for the winning weights will be the total weight for both days to the top 15 percent of the field and the payout is eighty percent of the entry fee. The order of take off will be the order that the entries are received and will be the same for both days.
