AARP Driver Safety Program
Sponsored by the Burlington Lions Club. Thursday, March 8th AND Friday, March 9th (10 a.m. to 12 Noon and 1 to 3 p.m. both days) at the Burlington Recreation Center, Cross Street and Shea Street, Burlington. $10 fee for the program. Call Bill Winter at 620.364.2401 for more information.

Burlington Lions Club pancake, sausage & biscuit breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (donations accepted) at the Coffey County Fire District #1 buildling in Burlington (113 North 5th Street). Proceeds benefit the Lions Club "Site First Program" which includes the eye glasses program and sponsorship of the Leader Dog (sight dogs) program. Come on down Saturday morning and help support these two great programs!

Chamber After Hours
The Burlington office of the American Red Cross (110 N 3rd Street, Burlington) is hosting this Chamber After Hours event on March 19th at 5 pm. Chamber members: bring your business card and $2 for the "Dollar Draw" and "Ad-mania" drawings. You could win FREE advertising in the newsletter and on the website for one month!

KCBS Certified Judges School on Saturday, March 31st at 10:00 a.m. (Ed Roith, Instructor). Class for judges in conjunction with the 3rd Annual WildBlue Bar Be Que Cook-off & Expo coming in July 2007. Registration fee includes class, materials, and one-year membership in the Kansas City Barbeque Society. Registration required by March 24th. LeRoy Homecoming Soup & Chili Feed and Bingo on Saturday, March 31st, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bingo at 7 p.m. Fund-raiser for the LeRoy Homecoming event (October 13-14, 2007). Soup & Chili Feed in the high school cafeteria, donations accepted. Bingo starts at 7 p.m. (fee to participate). Both events sponsored by the LeRoy Homecoming Committee.
