What Is a Chamber of Commerce? A Chamber of Commerce is an  organization that unites businesses,  professional people and the community in an effort to expand the economy of the area.  It must be understood that a Chamber of Commerce is PEOPLE!  There is a place in the Chamber for members to get involved and accomplish collectively what not one business could do alone, thereby creating a pool of resources from which to draw ideas, energies and finances.  Today, Chambers of Commerce have become community organizations that recognize all the factors that affect the community and adjust their programs accordingly. The Chamber is an Organization seeking to maintain a healthy, and expanding economy from which your business can profit. The Chamber promotes its chamber members through referrals , brochures and news releases. The chamber also promotes your business through, ribbon cuttings, after 5's, meetings and other special programs.
